Born and raised in Southern California, nothing has made me more excited than knowing the 2028 Olympics will be hosted right next door to me. This capstone project includes a main logo, promotional posters, as well as merch and ephemera. The LA28 logo encapsulates old Los Angeles postcards from the golden age of California. I created the posters from actual cut out pieces of colored construction paper, scanned and edited, and then added the copy and logo. I was inspired by what you might see when you look up in the sky in LA during the day and night. I wanted these pieces to feel very celebratory and joyful, just like the spirit of the Olympic Games.
